Crib Mattress Buying Tips

One of the most important purchases for your nursery is the crib mattress. While it’s tempting to skimp and find the cheapest, there are several considerations to keep in mind.

FIRMNESS

Soft sleep surfaces can create a suffocation hazard for infants and increase the risk of SIDS. 

SIZE

Buy your crib first and the mattress second. Make sure there are no more than 2 fingers of space between the mattress and the frame of the crib.

VENTILATION

Vents allow for airflow to prevent moisture, mold and mildew. 

ORGANIC
