My husband met with a engaged couple who will be getting married in April. While discussing the elements of the ceremony they told him about a new modern wedding tradition called Unity In Glass. I had never heard of it so I looked it up and here is how it works:
It is much like the sand ceremony but instead of combining sand, you are combining pieces of glass crystal during the unity ceremony. A glass artist then creates a work of art that will last a lifetime. It becomes your first family heirloom.
